In ProPresenter, turn the network setting on
Settings → Network, and switch it on.
2
Note the port number
It is on the same screen. Usually 1025.

Look for connected
A small badge shows connected when it has worked.
If ProPresenter is on a different Mac
Put that Mac’s address in the address box instead — something like192.168.1.50. You can paste it with http:// on the front if that is what
you copied; it is tidied up for you.
To find the address, on the Mac running ProPresenter: System Settings →
Network → Wi-Fi → Details. It is the IP address.
Both Macs must be on the same network. A guest wifi network usually blocks
machines from seeing each other, so use the same one for both.
Troubleshooting
It says it can't reach ProPresenter
It says it can't reach ProPresenter
The message names the address it tried. Work through these in order:
- Is ProPresenter actually open — on that machine?
- Is Settings → Network still switched on there? It can get switched off, especially after a ProPresenter update.
- Does the port here match the port ProPresenter shows?
- If ProPresenter is on another Mac: are both on the same network, and did you allow local network access?
It says it LOST ProPresenter

Different problem: it was working. Usually the other Mac went to sleep, or
dropped off the wifi. It reconnects by itself once that machine is back.
It says reconnecting…
It says reconnecting…
Give it a few seconds. It does this by itself and usually sorts itself out.
It connects, but the slides never move

That is almost always the microphone rather than ProPresenter. Go to The
microphone and use check the microphone.

If ProPresenter was reinstalled or updated, check the network setting is
still on and the port has not changed.
