If someone says a bible reference out loud during the talk, ScreenShepherd can put that passage on the screen by itself, and take it away again afterwards. This replaces sending a scripture message from ProPresenter by hand.

Choosing how it looks

Go to the setup tab, under scripture. Pick one of your own ProPresenter slides from the list. They are grouped by theme, the same way ProPresenter groups them, so look for the theme you know it by. Leave it on automatic and ScreenShepherd picks one for you. It tells you which one it chose underneath.
ProPresenter has to be connected before you can choose. If it is not, the list says connect propresenter to choose a look.
A sample verse appears on the screen as soon as you choose, so you can see how it looks before Sunday. Press clear to take it off again.
Worth trying a few. A slide built for scripture often has two text boxes on it, and the passage can end up shown twice. Choosing one and looking is the only way to know.

During the service

When a passage is read out, a line appears in the ScreenShepherd window:
showing (the reference)
For a long passage you also get previous and next to page through it, and it shows you where you are, like 2/3. clear takes it off the screen and gives the song words back.

If it cannot show it

You may see:
heard (reference) — couldn’t reach propresenter to show it
It heard the reference but could not put it up. Check ProPresenter is still connected on the setup tab.
